Thankfully, it looks like Joaquin will be moving out to sea and a repeat of Superstorm Sandy is not upon us. There will still be a lot of rain, wind and possible flooding, but nothing near the intensity of what we dealt with a few years ago. I'm actually excited about this. I'm not a HUGE fan of rain, especially if I have to drive in it, but when it rains as much as it has today and is expected to throughout the weekend, I like dedicating days like that to relaxing.

Tomorrow, I'm planning on watching football with my boyfriend, listening to music on my turntable and eating Chinese food that will be delivered to my front door. I could not be more excited. To get myself prepared, I'm listening to some of my favorite rain-related songs.

You can check out ten of my favorite rainy day songs below.

Jack Johnson - "Banana Pancakes"

Led Zeppelin - "Fool In The Rain"

Ed Sheeran - "Make It Rain" (Foy Vance cover)

The Gaslight Anthem - "The Patient Ferris Wheel"

Elvis Presley - "Kentucky Rain"

Maroon 5 - "Sunday Morning"

The Rolling Stones - "Gimme Shelter"

Bruce Springsteen - "Mary's Place"

Guns N' Roses - "November Rain"

Rihanna - Umbrella (feat. Jay-Z)
