An autopsy is planned Thursday to determine what caused a woman's death after she found a burglar in her Woodstown home.

Janet Rankin called police after she returned to her home early Wednesday morning. Police determined the home had been broken into.

Public Safety Director Cris Simmermon tells the South Jersey Times the 54-year-old exhibited cardiac arrest symptoms soon after. Rankin was taken to a hospital and died.

Police are gathering evidence and no arrests have been made.
