NJ Medical Worker Charged in Sex Assaults

HACKENSACK, N.J. — Authorities have charged a man who worked as an assistant in New Jersey medical offices with sexual assault and criminal sexual contact.

Gung "Dan" Kim of Metuchen is free on $50,000 bail.

Two women patients had told police the 29-year-old had touched them in a sexual manner on separate occasions at Edison Kidney Center in Edison and at a satellite office in Fort Lee.

The Bergen County prosecutor says Kim is not a licensed physician or nurse. The prosecutor says it appears the patients, were unaware of his position in the medical offices, where he has worked since September.

It's not known if he has hired a lawyer.
