Berlin Township Police are searching for a 16-year-old Camden County girl, who has not been since since Sunday evening.

According to the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office Riley Romano, 16, is believed to have run away from home sometime early Monday morning. The teen was last seen by her family on Sunday night at about 10:30 p.m., at their home on Washington Avenue in Berlin Township, police said in a press release Monday.

The family reported her missing on Monday morning at 6:30 a.m. when they realized she was gone. The teen has Asperger's Syndrome but is "highly functioning and verbal," authorities said.

Police say the teenager is a white female with blue eyes and brown hair. She has fair skin and freckles and her ears and nose are pierces. She is approximately 5’11’’ and weighs about 260 pounds.

Police are asking for the public's assistance in locating Romano.
