Missing girl found safe in Ocean City, police say
The Camden County Prosecutor's Office said Monday night that 16-year-old Riley Romano was found and is safe, several hours after she was reported missing.
The teen is believed to have run away from home sometime early Monday morning and was last seen by her family on Sunday night at about 10:30 p.m., at their home on Washington Avenue in Berlin Township, police said in a press release.
The family reported her missing on Monday morning at 6:30 a.m. when they realized she was gone.
Just before 11 p.m. Monday night, Andrew McNeil, public information officer for the Prosecutor's Office, stated that the teen had been found safe in Ocean City, NJ.
