Drivers around the state this weekend will have several road projects and closures to deal with.

Princeton police Lt. Jonathan Bucchere said Route 206 will be closed until at least Saturday between Lovers Lane and Hutchinson Drive after a large truck hit two utility poles, bringing wires down into the roadway.

"PSE&G is on scene and will likely be working through the night," said Bucchere, adding that there were no injuries from incident.

  • Route 10 east and westbound will be closed between Eyland Avenue and Main Street before the railroad grade all weekend starting Friday night until 6 a.m. Monday. According to the Department of Transportation, the project is part of the rehabilitation of four railroad crossings on Route 10.

" This is definitely a major closure and detour for this very busy stretch of highway in the heart of local commerce. A similar project at a different rail crossing in the same area a few years back was also done on a weekend and it was a major inconvenience. But the work needs to be done and to close the road during a work week would not be feasible for many reasons including the impact on traffic," New Jersey Fast Traffic's Bob Williams said.

  • Two left lanes on Route 495 eastbound just before it crosses Routes 1&9 in North Bergen will be closed all weekend starting at 10 p.m. Friday for the replacement of a collapsed expansion joint. These lane closures are similar to what was done last month when repairs were made on the right two lanes. The closure will be in effect through 4 a.m. Monday, meaning leaving Sunday's Jets game could be affected by delays on eastbound Route 3.

  • The Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst Beat 539 Marathon will be run Saturday morning, closing Route 530/Route 539 between Route 70 and Route 538 in New Egypt.
