WHY WE LOVE INSECTROPOLIS IN TOMS RIVER
Insectropolis has several different exhibits so that kids of all ages can get an up-close look at bugs.
It takes the average visitor about 45 minutes to tour the whole museum.
The Bug University Exhibit covers bug basics. A live honeybee hive lets kids watch the bees as they carry specific tasks to create honey.
At the Rock State Prison, kids get to learn about thieving bugs, bugs who are in "solitary confinement" for spreading diseases and other outlaw bugs.
The Mud Tube lets kids get an idea of what your crawlspace looks like to a termite.
HOURS, PRICES, LOCATION
