‘Tribute (Right On)’ by The Pasadenas — Doyle’s ‘Not-So-Top-10′ List
Gotta love groups who wear matching outfits! The Pasadenas were a dance band from England formed around three brothers: Aaron, Michael, and David Milliner.
They definitely have to be considered one-hit wonders as “Tribute” was their only American chart hit, and even at that, it only peaked at #52 in 1989 (it reached #5 in the UK, and #1 in the Netherlands). They also performed at Band Aid II (I didn’t even remember that there WAS a Band Aid II). Needless to say, they were a much bigger deal in Europe than they were here, as they disappeared quickly after their moderate US hit.
