A truck driver  was speaking to Jim this morning (5/10) regarding a ticket he had received for driving in the left lane. A little bit later on in the hour another listener called in and said he applauded the officers that cited the truck driver because he shouldn't have been in the left lane to begin with.

Jim was discussing the 'new' driver's license requirements for New Jersey. Just got used to the old system? Well guess what? You're going to be learning ALL over again.

In Tennessee the state legislature is about to pass a law barring pets from drivers' laps.  At first I thought, how big a problem could this be?  Also thought of the stereotype of the elderly driver who can barely see over the steering wheel with a jaunty cap on his head and a poodle in his lap...
