Today's Easter Egg Roll at the White House has included a question-and-answer session featuring President Barack Obama and a gathering of young boys and girls. But it was the president asking the questions.

Since he became pope -- and earlier as an archbishop in Argentina -- Pope Francis has put concern for the poor and suffering at the center of his messages.
