High temperatures Thursday were in the upper 70s to around 80.

Actually, it did reach 80 at Newark, Trenton, and Wrightstown, while Atlantic City had a high of 77.

The normal high is 82 or 83. We are now in summer. Summer began at 1:04 a.m. during the early morning hours.

We're looking for a mostly sunny sky today with low humidity again with highs in the low 80s or so, but cooler 70s at the beaches with a sea breeze.

The water, by the way, is 65 up to near 70 degrees.

Mainly clear tonight with most lows back in the 50s, but low to mid 60s in urban and coastal areas.

Lots of sunshine for Saturday and Sunday.

The only issue with Sunday would be whether or not there is the slightest chance of an isolated thunderstorm or shower late in the day in northern and westernmost counties

But, it's a slight chance.  More than likely, the majority of the state this weekend will be rain-free.

With lots of sunshine, low 80s Saturday and mid to upper 80s Sunday as it becomes more humid.

It'll be cooler both days this weekend at the beach.  The ocean temps will be 65 to near 70.
