As expected, my high temperatures in the mid 70s yesterday were perfect with the exception of Newark Liberty Airport, which also as expected, reached 78.

That is two to four degrees above everybody else.  Today will be in the upper 70s, but probably near 80 at Newark with lots of sunshine and reasonably low humidity. It will be cooler again right near the ocean with a wind off the water.

Clear and milder tonight with some lows in the 50s, lower 60s in the big cities and along the coast.

It will definitely be more humid Saturday with some sunshine and arriving clouds.

We've had to include, though, for tomorrow the chance for a late shower or thunderstorm in parts of North Jersey near the Delaware River.  The eastern-half of the state will be rain-free all day though.  High tomorrow will be around 80 or so, but still cooler near the ocean.

Saturday night, the whole state gets wet with some showers and maybe some early thunder.

All of the showers and thunder will be over late Saturday night or first-thing very early Sunday.

The majority of Sunday will feature some sunshine and much less humidity with temps in the low to mid 70s.

Have a good weekend everyone.
