To my surprise yesterday, Newark Liberty Airport reached 90, which was three or four degrees above everybody else.

Today will have a shot at 90, certainly close to it if we don't get there, with lots of sunshine and more humidity.  It will be cooler at the beaches and the ocean water temperatures remain in the lower 70s, every bit of 73 degrees now.

I've included just the slight chance of a shower in spots this afternoon and this evening.  I really don't believe it.  I think the weather service may have the right idea of not including it at all in their forecast.

Maybe a passing shower chance in parts of the state with temps in the humid upper 60s to mid 70s.

Humid again Thursday with highs well into the 80s, but cooler again near the ocean.

There's the continuing chance of a shower or thunderstorm tomorrow.

But returning sunshine, warm and lower humidity for Friday with highs back in the 80s.

The weekend looks terrific with lots of sunshine and low humidity.

The Tropics are still unusually quiet.  We'll see if that persists in the days and weeks ahead.
