The weekend was excellent, and the forecast worked out pretty much as advertised.

It was only in the low 70s yesterday, but that's normal - 71 or 72 is the normal high temperature for New Jersey this time of the year.

Beyond many patchy clouds today, we'll be partly to mostly sunny with high temperatures no better than the low 70s.  It'll be cooler with a wind off the ocean near the beach and boardwalk.

With some clear skies tonight, temperatures will be back into the 40s and 50s.  There may even be a few upper 30s in Northwest New Jersey, not impossible.  It will be 40s and 50s for the most part, though.

There should be mostly sunny skies for Tuesday and getting warmer.  High temperatures will be in the upper 70s to around 80.  Again, it'll probably turn cooler near the ocean Tuesday afternoon.

Temperatures Wednesday could be in the low to middle 80s with a good deal of sunshine.

It looks, as though, the weather will be fine as we head towards the end of the week and for most of the upcoming weekend ahead.
