Planning on marking the Feast of Trumpets this year? How about Ascension of 'Abdu'l Baha?

New Jersey this week approved more than 100 religious holidays for 2016-2017 — days on which they're entitled to take off under state law, provided they present their schools with notes from parents or guardians.

School boards may also add other holidays to their own district-wide schedules.

The list is updated every year. The 2016-2017 list is:
