NJ Non-Profit Focuses On Clean Water
Started in 1974, New Jersey Friends of Clearwater is a non-profit organization whose main focus is to educate children and adults on the importance of clean and clear water. The organization focuses a large majority of their efforts on the waterways within New Jersey. The organization has been very hands-on in the community over the past 38 years.
Their efforts include clean-ups of NJ streams, organizing protests against polluters and bad corporate and government policy, water sampling and testing and community outreach events.
