Family and friends will be on hand to welcome home members of New Jersey's National Guard who are returning from Afghanistan.
Members of the 508th Military Police Commany in Afghanistan
More than 135 members of the 508th Military Police Company left the Teaneck Armory for deployment in July.
The troops played a role in mentoring the Afghan uniform police.
Most of the soldiers are from Essex, Hudson, Middlesex, Monmouth, Ocean, Passaic and Sussex counties.
The welcome home ceremony is scheduled to take place at the National Guard Armory in Lawrenceville on Thursday afternoon.
