
NJ Assemblyman Concedes After Recount
A New Jersey state assemblyman has conceded an election after a recount showed him losing by 39 votes.
Assemblyman John Amodeo
Republican John Amodeo tells The Press of Atlantic City that he called Democrat Vince Mazzeo on Tuesday to offer his concession.
Amodeo had served for six years.
Mazzeo, who is also mayor of Norhfield, will join Republican Chris Brown in representing the Atlantic County district.
With Mazzeo's victory, Democrats maintain a 48-32 majority in the Assembly.
