THURSDAY'S HEADLINES

  • Route 130 topped this year's list of the most dangerous roads across the state for pedestrians.
  • At a Wednesday press conference, Governor Christie blasted the NJEA for breaking a lobbyist spending record.  Christie also announced changes to the funding to keep the state's tough anti-bullying laws in tact.
  • A medical marijuana ordinance is introduced in Plumsted that would clear some of the red tape to bring a pot center to the town.
  • A public hearing was held at the State House on Wednesday to listen to testimony about Governor Christie's proposed budget.
  • A positive job sign as employees are beginning to leave jobs, indicating that there may be greener pastures out there.
