Brightening Holidays: Lester Glenn Collects More Than 200 Toys for Foster Kids

Lester Glenn Auto Group has hosted a holiday toy drive for the past 5 years, but this year's effort had a bigger local impact by benefitting CASA.

CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children) is a nonprofit that recruits, trains, and supports community volunteers to advocate for children in the foster care system. They advocate for the children who have experienced abuse or neglect both in and out of the courtroom.

Eight Lester Glenn Auto Group locations asked employees, friends, family members, and customers to donate new, unwrapped toys for ages 2-18. In all, more than 200 gifts were given to CASA children during CASA's annual holiday party.

Lester Glenn Auto Group has been serving the Jersey Shore since 1956 and continuously gives back to the organizations and efforts that keep the communities strong, including the Clash of the Titans game that raises money for Point Pleasant Challenger Flag Football Program. They also support Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk in Point Pleasant, area education, veterans organizations, natural area preservation, and so many others in need.
