Krispy Kreme is coming to SIX New Jersey towns — and one just opened
Sweet news for NJ doughnut lovers, as a new Krispy Kreme doughnut factory has opened up in Jersey City. It's right near the Grove Street PATH station — a prime spot for commuters!
And, this is just the beginning of Krispy Kreme's expansion into north Jersey. Last April, a development agreement was reached to open six shops in Bergen and Hudson counties, over a several-year span.
It seems only right that Krispy Kreme is spreading its glazed wings in the Garden State, since their global spokesperson is Newark native and NBA great Shaquille O’Neal.
O’Neal calls himself a 'lifelong Krispy Kreme fan'. He's also owner of one of the brand's long-running shops (in Atlanta). Maybe Shaq should get in on the Jersey doughnut action, too.
