Thursday's high temperatures reached the upper 80s; 88 in Trenton and Wrightstown, Burlington County.

A tornado watch that the National Severe Storms Forecast Center put up around 3 p.m. in the afternoon until 10 p.m. last night was really not needed because there was no severe weather of consequence, certainly not any tornadoes.

There were some damage reports from hail and strong wind gusts in parts of Monmouth County, for example.

Today will be very warm and humid. We'll probably have another watch, probably a thunderstorm watch later today.  That's a pretty good bet with clouds and some sunshine.  Also, there is a pretty good chance of a shower or strong, gusty thunderstorm this afternoon or this evening, upper 80s, 70s at the beach.

A few showers and a thunderstorm around the first part of the night, then warm and humid with statewide lows from 64 to 71.

Clouds and some sunshine Saturday and still humid with another chance, mainly in the afternoon or evening, of shower or thunderstorm.  Saturday highs in the upper 80s, but cooler near the water.

Showers and storms may become more numerous Sunday, still in the humid 80s, but 70s at the beaches.
