A New Jersey university has become the latest in a growing list of schools that have revoked honorary degrees presented to Bill Cosby as the comedian faces accusations that he drugged and sexually assaulted dozens of women over the course of several years.

On Oct. 23, Drew University's board of trustees voted to revoke the honorary degree it bestowed upon Cosby in 2002, claiming that his alleged actions violate Drew University's values and standards, NJ.com reported. Cosby spoke at the university's commencement that same year.

Cosby has held more than 20 honorary degrees from various colleges and universities throughout the country, but as more women have come forward with similar accusations claiming they were assaulted by the comedian, more schools have cut ties.

In October, Tufts University in Massachusetts and Goucher College in Maryland both rescinded Cosby’s degrees. Both Fordham and Marquette universities also revoked degrees. Also last month, officials at Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, Pa. voted to revoke the degree, which was given 15 years ago when the comedian was the college’s commencement speaker.

According to The Guardian, a spokeswoman said the school was also looking into returning a $100,000 donation that Cosby gave the college to create a scholarship that has funded several students’ graduate work.

Although dozens of schools have stripped Cosby of honorary degrees and honors, his alma mater, Temple University, has yet to take any action against the comedian, who resigned from the school's Board of Directors last year.
