Do I Have to Turn in My Man Card Because I Went Tanning Last Night? [POLL]

I have a vacation coming up. I'm taking a road trip with three buddies throughout the mid-west. I know that I'm going to be exposed to a lot of sunlight while I'm out there, so I'm trying to avoid getting excessive sun burn.

I was convinced that my best bet would be to go a tanning salon to get a base tan so my skin can get used to the exposure.

Regardless of the reason, I've been getting a lot of heat for it (pun intended). Some of my friends claim I should be required to turn in my man card because "going tanning is just not something a dude is supposed to do."

I feel like I had a good reason. Besides, it's not like I'm going to try and make it an everyday thing. With the hours I work, I don't get many chances to hit the beach.
