The weekend forecast turned out to be a bit cooler than expected.

It was only in the lower 50 yesterday, and I expected a little bit milder than that when I last left you on Friday.

Temperatures today will be no better than the low to mid 50s, at best.  There will be a brisk wind from off the ocean, as we kind of watch a disturbance off the southeast coast that's producing some showers and thunder in Florida, and off the Georgia/South Carolina coastline.

That's going to be sneaking up the coastline, but I think most, if not all of its rain and showers should stay offshore.  There's some sign that maybe tomorrow morning there could be a few areas of light rain near the coastline, but I suspect it'll just as easily be nothing at all.

It will be kind of breezy today and tomorrow with temperatures a bit cooler near the beach and boardwalk than they will be elsewhere.

Still lots of clouds for a while tomorrow before we begin some partial clearing late in the day

We look at Wednesday with a mix of sun and clouds with possible temperatures in the milder 60s with a bit of luck.
