The highest temperature reached yesterday was 73 at Mcguire Air Force Base in Wrightstown, 71 in Atlantic City and Trenton, and 70 in Newark.  The normal high is 55 to 57, so we were way way above normal.

Today, we have the chance of being in the low 70s in spots with variable clouds and some sun, but it also may shower in parts of the state.  Rain is especially possible from 195 on north.

A few showers will move through in the nighttime hours ahead, then cooler with temperatures from 48 to 52.

Some rain still seems likely for tomorrow with highs from 57 to 62.

There's the chance of showers Thursday morning, and then some late clearing is possible, but cooler.  Thursday's highs just 48 to 52.

And then the weather looks okay for Friday, Saturday, and the upcoming weekend.  The weather system coming in from the west may lead to the chance of showers by late Sunday or Sunday night.  But I think most, if not all, of Sunday will be over with before any showers arrive on that day.
