Monday's high temperatures reached the lower 50s; 52 in Atlantic City, 53 Newark, and 54 at the Trenton-Mercer County Airport.  A solid 10 degrees or more above normal.  What else is new in this winter?

Today will be bright and sunny.  A few highs will be just in the low 50s again.  And that will be again close to 10 degrees above normal this afternoon.

It will be clear to start tonight, then some late clouds, and lows in the 20s, but low to mid 30s in urban and coastal areas.

Now, a disturbance tomorrow will be moving through New Jersey in the afternoon and the first part of tomorrow night with some light snow possible in spots or light rain.  That may be true, the light rain, in far southern counties in New Jersey.

There might be enough light snow to provide a coating.  Do we dare say an outside chance of an inch by the time all is said and done tomorrow night.  Wednesday's highs is the mid 30s to low 40s.

Lots of sunshine Thursday with temperatures in the 40s.

And then, the temperatures will turn really cold in the upcoming weekend, especially Sunday when temperatures may not be above freezing.  We'll wait and see whether or not we have a storm threat in the early or middle part of next week.

More on that later.
