A bitterly cold day in New Jersey, but it'll only last about 24 hours into Thursday morning before temperatures moderate to near seasonal tomorrow, and above normal as we head into Friday and the upcoming weekend.

We'll have some sunshine and some variable clouds arriving during the course of the day.  There's just chance of a snow flurry this afternoon and this evening.  But, most places probably will not see anything.  Highs, though, this afternoon will only be in the upper 20s to around 30, and just enough wind to make it feel much colder, especially this morning.

Mostly cloudy tonight and not nearly as cold with temperatures in the 20s to near 3o, and maybe a flurry in a few spots.

Early clouds followed by some sunshine for tomorrow with a few highs reaching the low 40s Thursday afternoon.

Passing clouds and sunshine Friday with milder highs from 48 to 52.

And Saturday, with some sunshine temperatures could reach 50 to 55.

More of the same for Sunday, but with temperatures settling into the cooler 40s.
