When Academy Awards President Cheryl Boone Issacs was reading off the names for Achievement in Cinematography, she probably didn't think misreading a name would be that big of a deal. Instead, it has become an overnight sensation.   Issacs was about read the name of famous cinematographer Dick Pope for his work on the movie "Mr. Turner," when she had a very unfortunate mispronunciation. Instead of saying Dick Pope, Issacs said Dick POOP.

When reached for comment, Pope has a very good sense of humor and told USA Today "You know what, I have been called a lot worse in my time, I don't think twice about anything like that. I am happy to be nominated." Apparently as soon as Pope heard about the nomination, he heard about the misspeak as well. "You don't need to explain it to me. I have had it explained one hundred times," said Pope. "I feel sorry for the lady who made the mispronunciation."
