High temperatures yesterday reached 49 and 50 degrees; 50 at Newark Liberty Airport. It was a little bit of a surprise. I thought we would only be in the mid 40s.

As usual, a look at the high temperatures from yesterday; 43 or 44 were the highest numbers from Monday.

Again, the normal high is 47 to 48, so a little bit below that.

As rain tapers off a few scattered showers during the morning hours, there may be a shower chance that persists in northernmost New Jersey, but Central and Southern counties should dry out somewhat this afternoon

As usual we review high temperatures for Monday, and I predicted mid to upper 40s, and that's exactly what happened.  It was 44 in Wrightstown to 48 in Atlantic City.
