One Dead In Route 1 Crash
One person is dead in an one car crash on Route 1 in Lawrence.
Fire & rescue at the Delaware & Raritan Canal State Park pedestrian bridge off Route 1
Police continue to investigate why a white Nissan Maxima drove head-on into a concrete support column at the Delarware & Raritan Canal State Park pedestrian bridge on the southbound side just past the Interstate 95/295 bridge.
The ramps from the northbound sides of each highway to Route 1 south were also closed.
