Jimmy Fallon Performs With Idina Menzel (a.k.a. Adele Dazeem) [VIDEO]

The wickedly talented, Tony winning Idina Menzel performed “Let It Go” from Frozen with Jimmy Fallon and the Roots last night. She’s the bright light on Broadway who’s name was so badly butchered by John Travolta at the Oscars it’s amazing it didn’t throw off her performance Sunday night.

The Pulp Fiction star gave her name as Adele Dazeem, not remotely close. The mispronunciation sent Twitter into overdrive. We did an hour yesterday taking calls from unfortunate folks who’s own names are constantly mispronounced. At least John Travolta has inspired people.

But really, what was going on there? What could have accounted for this awful butchering of her name?
