Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno joined me in studio on Tuesday morning for another round of #DigginInWithKim.

Kim and I are both proud to be living in the Garden State and we are in it for the long haul. Our goal is to get other NJ residents to stay for the long haul as well.

As we prepare for the kickoff of the holiday season, the Lt. Governor is kicking off a great program where NJ residents can show what they're thankful for on social media. NJ residents can show their appreciation by using the hashtag #GiveThanksNJ. You can share your stories on social media platforms including, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Google+, Vine and Flickr.

“People use social media every day to express their feelings about an array of issues impacting their communities. Let’s build on that momentum in a positive manner by changing the tone of these posts to reflect all of the good our communities have to offer,” Lt. Governor Guadagno said. “In keeping with the tradition of Season of Service, the #GiveThanksNJ initiative will highlight the positive impact our residents and organizations have in New Jersey.”

Posts to #GiveThanksNJ will be uploaded to website that will display all of the posts. You can see our discussion about the initiative in the YouTube clip above.
