The news of the shooting of Congressman Steve Scalise from Louisiana broke as Lt. Governor Kim Guadagno joined me on air for another segment of #DigginInWithKim.

Members of the GOP were at a baseball practice when a shooter opened fire on them. While it happened in Virginia, Kim explained that when events like this take place, it has a ripple effect because of the fear of copy cat incidents. As if our NJ State Troopers and for that matter, all local officers are already on heightened alert, incidents like this make it even worse.

"Nothing is worth what happened this morning, Nothing," Guadagno said.
