Organizers have put together the Boots for Babies Summer Concert, featuring country music stars, Joe Diffie and Aaron Tippin.
“All the net proceeds go to benefit the March of Dimes, which goes to help improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality,” said Danielle Alexander, one of the show organizers.
The event will be held on Wednesday, August 6, at 7 p.m. at The Enterprise Center on Burlington County Community College’s campus.
“We’re hoping to fill the Enterprise Center at Burlington County Community College,” Alexander said. “It holds approximately 600 people.”
The concert provides an innovative way to raise money for the mission of the March of Dimes.
“I think it will be a wonderful event for a terrific cause. Raising money and having fun doing it, I think, is a good way to go,” said Dick Kamin, another concert organizer.
Tickets and sponsorships for the show are still available.
