Frisky, Bowser, Oliver and Pearl Need Forever Homes [NJ Pets of the Week]

NJ101.5 has partnered with local animal rescue organizations EASEL Animal Rescue League and Sammy’s Hope to feature adoptable local pets in need of homes.

Help us find these pets homes by sharing this information with family members and friends who may be interested in adopting a shelter pet.

Adopt Frisky

Frisky is a bundle of energy that will not be contained!  She's looking for a home where her spirit can flourish, but with a cat-savvy owner who can teach this wild child how to behave. Frisky is about 8-months-old, with a shiny coat of a perfect tiger.

Adopt Bowser

Bowser is a beautiful American Staffordshire terrier/Labrador Retriever mix who is super friendly and very smart. He's a quick learner and is eager to please.  He loves playing with toys and enjoys a good game of fetch followed by quiet time in his crate with a good bone! Bowser would love a big yard with lots of people to play with. He walks nicely on a leash with a reminder every now and then to stay on the left side.

Adopt Oliver

Oliver is an adorable American Staffordshire terrier/American Bulldog mix puppy.  He came to the shelter as a stray and we were shocked that no one came to claim him. The vet believes he is pretty young, maybe around 8-months-old, and he has the big paws to prove it!  He was very shy at first, but once he started making volunteer friends, his bouncy puppy nature came shining through. Oliver needs some training, and a family who has the time and patience for a large puppy.

Adopt Pearl

Pearl was accidentally trapped during a TNR project, but clearly not a feral cat! She's a little scared right now because of all she has been through, but she is truly a sweetheart! Pearl needs a nice, warm loving home where she can be spoiled and treated like a queen.
