Two Residents Injured In Tent City Fire

Two residents of Tent City in Lakewood have been injured by a fire overnight.

TheLakwoodScoop.com reports  the tent caught fire in the encampment shortly after midnight and was quickly  brought under control within about 15 minutes. Firefighters managed to pull a line into the tent located off of Cedar Bridge Avenue.

The injured were tranported to Kimball Medical Center, in unknown condition. The cause and circumstances of the blaze are still under investigation.

In the past ten days, there has been a death, two fires and a double stabbing at the encampment, known as Tent City.
