Police department creates hilarious Matthew McConaughey commercial parody

When you work at night, you need to have a sense of humor to get you through the late hours. That special sense of humor is what one officer at the Cedar Hill Police Department in Texas used to create this hilarious video.

The police department used Matthew McConaughey's famous #IntheMoment Lincoln commercials to create a very funny parody about what goes through an officer's mind while on duty late at night.

As the police officer drives, you hear him thinking about why he became an officer, mimicking McConaughey's voice.

You hear the officer saying "You don't get into police work because it makes sense. You do it because you thought it looked really cool on T.V."

Unlike McConaughey, we find out the police officer wasn't driving, alone with his thoughts. The officer had a suspect in custody in the back of his car. The officer was apparently so last in his thought, he forgot the suspect was with him.

"Whose prisoner is this? And why is he in my squad car?"

This is hands down the funniest police parody since an officer in Delaware was caught dancing to Taylor Swift in his squad car.
