Tobin Heath is one of the most talented women’s soccer players in United States history.

Heath was born in Basking Ridge, NJ in 1988. After graduating from Ridge High School in 2006, Heath was named a Parade All-American in soccer as well as the Gatorade New Jersey Player of the Year.

Heath was offered a scholarship to play soccer at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill where she was a part of three NCAA Women’s Soccer Championship teams.

In 2008, Heath made her first appearance for the U.S. Women’s National team. While with the national team, Heath won a gold medal in 2008 and a silver medal in the FIFA 2011 World Cup. In 2011 Heath was the first overall pick in the Women’s Professional Soccer.

Tobin Heath will be competing in her second Olympic games as a mid-fielder.
