Gas Prices Reach a New Years High
Drivers nationwide rang in the New Year paying the highest price for gas on record for the holiday period: $3.32 per gallon.
AAA Mid-Atlantic says the nationwide average has since risen to $3.33. That's $0.01 less than our average here in New Jersey.
We were paying $3.31 per gallon a week ago and $3.35 this time last year. The Trenton area reported the highest prices at $3.37 per gallon, while Cape May County came in with the lowest at $3.33.
