LOS ANGELES -- A gunman who killed a federal airport screener and wounded three others during a shooting rampage at Los Angeles International Airport three years ago has agreed to plead guilty.

A plea agreement filed Thursday shows Paul Ciancia agreed to plead guilty to murder and other charges and prosecutors won't seek the death penalty.

Ciancia is charged with the murder of Transportation Security Administration officer Gerardo Hernandez at LAX on Nov. 1, 2013. Three others were also shot.

The New Jersey native was quickly shot by officers and arrested, but the rampage crippled the airport for hours as authorities searched to see if others were involved.
