Narcan sales don’t help solve the real problem
This is a problem.
Narcan is a life saver and is a critical tool in the fight against the heroin epidemic. However, with nothing attached to Narcan use, no treatment, no therapy, no punishment, sales at stores such as Acme become a potential enabler for addicts who need help beyond the next high. The unintended consequence of someone stealing for the money to buy a legal product. Or dealers buying in bulk. This move could be completely counterproductive toward the battle to end the NJ epidemic.
