Man dies after being ejected, run over by his own truck in NJ
PARSIPPANY, N.J. (AP) — State police say a truck driver died several hours after he was ejected from and run over by his own vehicle during a crash on a northern New Jersey highway.
Joseph Molinari was westbound on Route 80 in Parsippany when he lost control of his truck day cab around 10 a.m. Monday. Traffic was slowing down in the area, and Molinari's vehicle struck a car in another lane and then hit a barrier.
The door of Molinari's cab opened during the crash and he was ejected, then run over by his own truck.
Molinari was taken to a hospital, but died during surgery.
Two people in the car that was hit by Molinari's vehicle were not injured.
