Lodzinski was arrested in 2014 in Florida, where she was living.

She'd long been a suspect in the disappearance of Timothy Wiltsey, but claimed he disappeared while they were at a carnival in Sayreville in 1991. His remains were found the following year in Edison, several miles away.

Lodzinski later changed her story, claiming he was kidnapped from the carnival.

Prosecution witnesses are expected to testify a blanket found near Timothy's body came from Lodzinski's apartment.

Lodzinski's lawyer has said the state has no direct evidence tying his client to the crime.
