
Funeral Set for Short Hills Carjacking Victim
A funeral is scheduled for Dustin Friedland, the victim of a carjacking at the Mall at Short Hills on Sunday night.

Services for 30-year-old Friedland are to be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Beth Am Shalom on Route 70 in Lakewood. He was living in Hoboken with his wife Jamie and was a member of the Toms River North Class of 2002 and a 2009 graduate of Syracuse University College of Law. He was a project engineer at Epic Mechanical in Neptune, his father's business.
Friedland was shot in the head as he was returning to his Range Rover in a parking deck after shopping with his wife at The Mall at Short Hills She was not harmed.
