Fly the Flag to Honor and Remember Those Lost in Battle

If you were looking to memorialize that special loved one that was lost while giving their life serving the military, Jim has found a very special way to remember them.

The foundation is called "Honor and Remember Inc.," and they are a national campaign of remembrance. This is a great way to honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for the country. These flags would serve as a reminder of lives lost in battle for our national freedoms.

For those that have lost their loved ones in battle, flags are personalized to some extent to honor them with a gold star and the name of the fallen, embroidered on the flag. You can see some examples of how they look by clicking here.

Here is the actual NJ initiative that was voted unanimously to have the honor and remember flag recognized as a designated as an official state flag in NJ.

NEW JERSEY SENATE VOTES UNANIMOUS PASSAGE OF BILL S-2007 DESIGNATING THE HONOR AND REMEMBER FLAG AS AN OFFICIAL STATE FLAG.

In a heartwarming show of support for the NJ Gold Star Mothers and Families , New Jersey Senators voted unanimously to accept and support the Honor and Remember Flag by passing Bill S-2007 which recognizes the Honor and Remember Flag as an Official State Flag.

The H+R Flag is not meant to detract from the Great American Flag in any way, shape , or form.

It is an additional visual reminder to New Jerseyans of the supreme sacrifice their Heroes endured in defense of our State and Country.

The Gold Star Families endure the pain of " That Empty Chair " where their Hero sat day in and day out.

The H+R Flag reinforces the fact that their Heroes shall not be forgotten .
