Fire damages ice house at Belford Seafood Co-op

The Belford Seafood Co-op is open on Saturday after a fire in their ice house on Friday night.

According to a post on their Facebook page the fire started around 6 p.m. after the closed for the day."For the time being, others are coming to our rescue with ice deliveries," read the post, which said they are only able to accept cash for purchases as their phone lines are out.

The Asbury Park Press reported the two-alarm fire was contained to ice house.
