A night with Donald Trump: Jill Myra’s mom tells her story

Ever wonder what it would be like to spend some time with President-Elect Donald Trump?  One person close to the show was able to tell us exactly what it's like.

Fran, the mother of traffic reporter Jill Myra, actually got to spend time with Donald Trump at a reception in Atlantic City back in the 1980's. Once Jill let us in on that little tidbit, you KNOW we had to have Fran on the air to tell us the story in her own words.

While she was an executive for the hotel/motel association, it nominated as Donald Trump for an award. Fran's job as a spokesperson was to met and greet with the honorees, including Trump, and introduce him to the other staffers. "He was delightful, he was a gentleman and he was extremely handsome," Fran recounted.

Fran had been curious because Trump had shown up to the event without then-wife Ivana. Then, Fran said, Trump was so sweet when he gave his explanation: "He said that we have so many functions that we divide our time with the children."

Fran thought that was so sweet that she just had to react to it. How did she react? In the most Jersey way possible, of course!

"I gave him a little kiss and a pinch on the cheek," Fran said.
