My wife caught a cute moment the other day. Our 9 month old was sitting on our bedroom floor and he started noticing his shadow for the first time. These are those little moments working parents hate when they miss so I'm happy she caught this before she left for work.

I hear we're lucky; that some kids get freaked out when they first notice their shadows. Sure enough I found this video compilation that proves this sometimes happens.
