This actually happened to my mother and step-father. Years before they met, when my mother was married to my father and before I even existed, she lived on a street where she used to sit on her front steps with my brother when he was a baby. My now step-father was friends with a guy who lived at the house next door and used to come over to see him. Years after my mom and step-father were a couple, they were reminiscing about things and somehow realized that she was the cute young mother he used to check out when he would visit his friend and that he was the handsome guy with the nice car she used to daydream about who would walk past now and then. They never spoke a word to each other yet ended up together years later. Love and fate, perfect together.
